Inspiration: Nature

Long walks through nature gardens and camera ready, I am constantly taking photos of leaves, plants and flowers I find interesting. I take these images and translate them to paint. I return a number of times if I can to take second looks and view changes in shadow and color.  The environment is always quiet and takes me away from the "loudness" of everyday life.  I am sure that nature makes its own noise, but for me it is much more tranquil and honest.
